Mishablu News - June 2008
Welcome to our Russian Blue website. We are very happy you stopped by.
If you are
interested in adopting a Russian Blue cat or kitten from us, be sure to read the
About Mishablu page and then go to
Contact Us for
information on how to inquire about adoptions. We will have a few kittens
available for adoption in August but we can only reserve a kitten for you with a
deposit.

If you are
interested in adopting a retired show cat from another Russian Blue cattery, be sure to read the
Adoptable Cats
page. The very handsome boy on the right is Boone who WAS looking for a
new home and now has found one. Boone will be flying from his breeder's
home California to his new family in Louisiana - where I am sure he will start
meowing with a Southern accent.
New Families
We have finally had time to start our section on this site that is
devoted to photos of Mishablu cats who have been adopted. It seemed very
fitting to start with Jack, who was in our very first Mishablu litter and is the
first Mishablu boy. Jack was always a very special cat from the moment he
was born - he used his back legs to propel himself around at the age of one day!
He mellowed out though and gave up his traveling ways to settle down with a
delightful family. Go to New Russian
Blue Families to see what
Jack looks like now.
If any more of our Mishablu parents would like to share their cat's photos, please send them to ColleenOK@Gmail.com.
The Kids at Four Weeks
Paris and Peek have their paws full with this bunch of kittens. They are still job sharing and the kittens are happy to nurse any mom available. We have set up child-proof gates on either side of our bed so that the kittens have two play areas and underneath the bed to play.
One or two of the kittens are already eating solid food in addition to nursing and several are using the litter boxes as well. Needless to say, there is a lot of play wrestling going on!
When one of our Russian Blue moms takes a little time off, it can be a little overwhelming for the remaining mother as you can see below.
